Plusnet improves fibre offers while ADSL2+ is not so great
A busy day on the broadband offer front, as PlusNet has changed its fibre broadband offer from £5/month for six months to free for six months (18 month contract, and £14.99 in low cost areas, £22.49 elsewhere after the introductory six months. The offer is available until close of play on the 24th November 2015.
For those who don't have the option of an Openreach FTTC or FTTP service, the previously free unlimited ADSL2+ offer at PlusNet has changed to £2.50 per month for 12 months. The contract term has improved though from 18 months now down to 12 months and this offer expires on 17th November 2015.
For both offers voice line rental via PlusNet is a requirement with its standard price of £16.99 per month. It is possible to order PlusNet broadband without taking their line rental product, i.e. voice line with a third party but the special offers do not apply and there is a £2.50 per month surcharge.
