Free ADSL2+ and fibre based broadband from Sky

Sky as expected has upped the ante on its with broadband offers this week with free broadband for the 12 month minimum term period on both ADSL2+ and the up to 38 Mbps fibre (FTTC) products.

  • Unlimited ADSL2+ free broadband for 12 months (£10 per month thereafter), just pay voice line rental at £16.40 per month. New customers to Sky joining without a TV package also receive a £100 M&S e-voucher. Existing Sky TV customers who do not already take broadband can switch voice and broadband to Sky to enjoy 12 months free broadband.
  • Fibre 25GB package, free for 12 months then £10 per month. 25 GB monthly usage allowance. Up to 38 Mbps downloads and up to 9.5 Mbps. Just pay the Sky voice line rental at £16.40 and £30 activation fee.
  • Unlimited Fibre Broadband £10 per month for 12 months, then £20 per month on a 12 month contract, up to 38 Mbps downloads and up to 9.5 Mbps uploads. Voice line rental required at £16.40 per month.
  • Sky Satellite TV, broadband and phone packages £75 bill credit for new customers plus 12 months free unlimited ADSL2+ broadband, with the 25% off the TV packages prices start from £15 per month for The Original Bundle. Voice line rental required at £16.40 per month.

Update 11th July The unlimited fibre is actually a 12 month contract, messaging and earlier versions of Sky product page had suggested it was unchanged at 18 months but this updated during Friday.

The Unlimited Fibre Broadband offer is actually better than it looks as they have changed the min contract to be 12 months and not the 18 months listed above.

Have tweaked article, originally when writing used 12 months, then double checked Sky site and it said 18 months. I guess they fixed that later on Friday.
