Hyperoptic launches new business options with its FTTB network

Hyperoptic is trying to bring the gold standard of full fat fibre broadband to lots more small businesses and has launched a range of new business options that are available in the existing 12 cities and towns where their FTTB service has a point of presence.

  • Shared Leased Lines Ideal for business parks and serviced office operations. A single leased is subdivided on-site saving lots of money versus the cost of many individual slower leased lines, pricing starts at £200 per month for a 100 Mbps symmetric product.
  • Leased Lines Fairly standard business line, but gives dedicated capacity back to the Hyperoptic fibre aggregation node with 1 to 5 year contracts and 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps options priced from £350 per month.
  • Business Broadband Aimed at buildings with multiple occupancy by different businesses, or home workers within an existing Hyperoptic enabled building. 12 month contracts and unlimited downloads with no traffic management and options of 20 Mbps, 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps.

"Put simply, downtime costs businesses money – in terms of lost sales and staff productivity. The beauty of our true fibre approach is that we can offer businesses a service that they can truly depend on, and use to grow their company. We are enabling innovation - businesses are earning £1 in every £5 from the Internet. Broadband is part of the business foundation; the infrastructure that bridges bricks and clicks."

Darren Shenkin, Director of Business Development, Hyperoptic

The twelve areas where these services are available is London, Cardiff, Bristol, Reading, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle and Nottingham. With the expansion Super Connected Cities scheme which offers businesses up to £3,000 to pay for the install of better broadband, it has never been easier to step up from the standard copper based connections and embrace a fibre future.
