Black Friday Sale over at BT with shorter contracts and lower prices

BT is entering into the spirit of the Black Friday Sale period with some special offers that run only until 1st December 2014, as well as the slightly longer running Sainsbury's Gift card offers that expire on 4th December 2014.

Voice line rental at £16.99 per month is a requirement of both offers, and while the prices are higher outside the minimum term (£18 and £23 respectively) if people are willing to sign up to a another contract term deals can sometimes be made.

Plusnet are probably doing the same tomorrow?

Seriously thinking about this. With Sky Unlimited at the minute (for years actually), but been with BT and our land line forever. Is it much hassle to switch from ADSL2 --> FTTC, from one ISP to another, in anyone's recent experience?. I just don't do hassle and stress very well.

Hmmm just chatted to someone on the BT site and found out if my master socket needed changing (its an older one piece thing with no test socket) then the £30 activation fee would not include an engineer visit to replace it. Funny what you find out if you dig a bit.
