Migrating FTTC customers should now only have a 1 month contract
Ofcom reminded everyone about rules changes to FTTC migrations, i.e. lower price (£50+VAT down to £11+VAT) and that for migrations only the minimum term will be 1 month rather than the old 12 months. The question now is which providers are going to embrace the new changes and try and win new customers?
So this is the chance for all those providers to get in touch and let us know what they have actually changed, and we will update our provider listings accordingly.
It is possible we may see no provider offering a 1 month minimum term for those migrating to their service, as all too often there is the cost of the broadband hardware to recover, but there is lots of scope for 3 or 6 month contract options.
