EE adds 8GB iPhone 5C to its range of 4G handsets

Mobile phone handsets are one of the more expensive things we all buy, and the new 8GB iPhone 5C which retails at £429 has created a new price point for owning an iPhone.

EE has added the new iPhone 5C to its shop, with the 8GB version available for an up front cost of £99 and a 24 month plan with a monthly rental of £18.99. 500 MB of data usage, unlimited texts and 1000 minutes of calls are also included.

The 16GB version which retails for £469 as an unlocked handset is available on the same tariff, but the upfront cost for the phone is £199.99.

8GB of storage may feel limiting to many, but for those who do not store lots of music or films and have a limited level of addiction to mobile phone games it may still prove adequate.

Not a bad deal for the 8GB model, but £100 extra for the 16GB is too much. Apple's retail price difference between them is only £40.

you got to tweak each plan on EE web site to get the right price as they (i assume you would not pay more then £50 for the phone, also on upgrades the phone fee is typically wavered)
cant see the Point in the 500mb plan you could wipe that out very fast
8gb £23.99 (£49.99) 2gb data
8gb £26.99 (£49.99) 4gb data
16gb £29.99 (£59.99) 2gb data
