Fujitsu Releases Statement on Line Card IssueFujitsu have just released a statement about the problems that have been ongoing with the Fujitsu Line Cards in some BT ADSL exchanges.
The statement gives a lot more information than has previously been in the public domain, and the full text can in read in our Announcements Forum.
The most useful thing to note is that wherever a line card had to be reset, up to 31 users would be affected, since the whole card had to reset. This will go a long way to explaining why some users were seeing more disconnects than usual.
We now await the Alcatel DSLAM upgrades and information about the issues that are affecting users connected to this hardware.
