Virgin Media announce special offer on triple play collections

Virgin Media is the latest provider to start a special offer as we move from real summer weather to autumn rain in a few hours. This new credit offer ends on 17th September 2013.

The triple play bundles at Virgin Media of TV, broadband and telephone are now available with an additional one time credit onto your bill in addition to the reduced price for six months.

  • Essential Collection up to 30 Mbps broadband, 500GB TiVo box, 100+ channels and weekend landline calls. £13/month for 6 months, then £26 a month, plus a £50 credit.
  • Premiere Collection up to 60 Mbps broadband, 500GB TiVo box, 200+ channels and weekend landline calls. £24/month for 6 months, then £48 a month, plus a £75 credit.
  • VIP Collection up to 100 Mbps broadband, 1TB TiVo box, 225+ channels and anytime calls to UK landlines. £49.50/month for 6 months, then £99 a month, plus a £100 credit. Also includes Sky Sports F1, Sky Movies HD, Sky Sports 1HD, Sky Sports 2HD, BT Sport & ESPN.

In all cases telephone line rental at £14.99 a month needs to be added to the cost

andrew why didnt you add the line rental to the cost? it feels as if you typed it as if you was told to do it that basically erssential is really 28 for 6 months than 41, premiere 49 for 6 months than 63 and vip 65 for 6 months than 115, the real prices.

Was not asked to type the text in any specific manner, simply following the same pattern as few other offer items.

The line rental is covered by the line just after the bullet list.

i have to agree with chrysalis point

each package should have Total price on each item as All of the packages have to have a phone line to get them prices (its a triple deal)

Don't see any difference between the Virgin post and this BT posted on the same day, both state line rental extra????
ADSL2+ £10/m for 12 months for a 10GB per month allowance and a £50 gift card.
ADSL2+ Unlimited free first six months, then £16/month. £50 Sainsbury voucher.
Unlimited BT Infinity (FTTC/P) with Weekend Calls, £20/m for 12 months rising to £23. £100 voucher.
BT TV Unlimited Infinity 2 Broadband Weekend calls, £26 per month, £100 Sainsbury's card free YouView box.
All the BT products require telephone line rental to be taken via BT Retail also, which costs £15.45 per month.

As it's a 'triple play' offering, then I'd say it makes sense to show the total cost, i.e. including line rental.
