Plusnet expansion to create 250 jobs in Leeds
Plusnet is to significantly expand the number of employees it has with the announcement of an office opening in Leeds in October 2013. The new office will eventually create an extra 250 jobs at the provider, taking its total to 1,100 employees, by March 2014 it is expected that 100 people will be working in a new Leeds site, in addition to the 850 staff already working in Sheffield, further expansion should mean a total of 1,100 staff across the two sites by 2016.
This expansion of Plusnet to operate from two sites should improve resilience to those pesky false fire alarms that pester office blocks through to real emergencies such as power outages, as well helping the provider to cope with a growing customer base due to the popularity of its various offers.

On the RSS you said "While customer numbers at Plusnet appear to be a closely guarded secret...". It's not so secret that they don't publish the number of users connected at any time: http://www.plus.net/support/service/network_performance/broadband_bandwidth_usage.shtml#customerNumbers
Thanks Jelv had not found that one before
why on earth do so many people go to minus net? i suppose it is cheap, just like Talk rubbish and Bloated toad.
They need to sort out customer service. I recommended them to a friend and hes been without service ever since. I have made a complaint by telephone and a digital one. No reply -- that seems to be their answer, dont reply and they (me) will go away.
Might be better if they didn't split the infinitive (to significantly expand)!
@Scotty118 If you can drop me a PM over on the forums with your Plusnet username I'll get someone to take a look.
Plusnet is an excellent company with a great product & 5* customer service!
I have been with PlusNet for many years and although I have had only cause to contact them twice, plus a house move, have found their service second to none. And you get to talk to a friendly, blunt, honest and helpful Yorkshireman!!! Keep up the good work guys ;-)
Having changed from O2 to PlusNet I have nothing but praise for their customer service, and all aspects of their broadband . It's no wonder they regularly get voted best Broadband provider by Which magazine !
Expansion and more knowledgeable staff is good, but PN have to make their pricing of packages especially bundle offers a lot more easier to check out on the web site especially for those folk with exchanges not in a low cost area.
