Need WiFi in London - head to London Square Mile
The Cloud has offered a WiFi service to the 10,000 residents and 400,000 workers in occupy London's Square Mile since 2007, and as part of a new agreement this will continue but the previous 15 minute usage limit is to be removed, allowing people to use it for as long as they like.
"The demand for fast, reliable WiFi constantly increases – usage on our network nationwide has doubled in the last 12 months, for instance. The success of our free WiFi service during the Olympics and Paralympics demonstrated that it’s a vital technology for visitors and shoppers as much as the City’s business community, so we’re pleased we can now make it available to everyone, especially at a time when other providers are switching to pay-for-use services."Vince Russell, Managing Director of The Cloud
The competition between Sky and Virgin Media to be the WiFi king and queen of the UK is increasing, lets hope that the next couple of years see this competition extend to improving coverage both WiFi and 3g/4g while moving around London and the rest of the country on public transport.
