BE Wholesale transforms into O2 Wholesale

BE Wholesale which has been building a reputation as a wholesale broadband provider is to change its name to O2 Wholesale as a move to join the O2 brand, and provide a more joined up face to O2 business customers. Consumers using the BE Consumer need not panic, nothing is changing with regards to their service.

"As more and more applications move to the cloud and access in any location becomes increasingly important, our partners serving the UK market are increasingly looking to offer a joined up connectivity strategy to serve their customers. These changes help our partners get closer to that ideal and deliver their end users with the best fixed and mobile offerings on the market."

Chris Stening, Managing Director of O2 Wholesale

Todays announcement goes beyond a simple rebrand, as O2 Wholesale is also announcing an Ethernet service which can provide uncontended bandwidth up to 1 Gbps, unlimited usage and dedicated fibre connections.

I'm confused, isn't O2 owned by Telefonica now?
