TalkTalk has announced that it will sell the up to 80 Mbps download FTTC service for £15 extra a month, in addition to the line rental and standard broadband package price. The monthly costs work out as follows:
- Essentials Package: Evening and weekend calls, with 40GB usage allowance. Line rental £13.80, £7.50 broadband and calls, 80 Meg fibre boost £15. Total £36.30
- Plus Package: Anytime calls and unlimited broadband. Line rental £13.80, £14.50 broadband and calls, 80 Meg fibre boost £15. Total £43.30
The prices represent the ongoing out of contract costs, various offers to reduce line rental and broadband prices are available for new signups. The fibre services carry a one-off activation fee of £25. Existing TalkTalk customers can also sign up to the fibre services.
