Full length shows and films on YouTube
YouTube, which has probably been the cause of lots of Internet connection congestion in offices as people kill that last 30 minutes before it is time to go home, may very soon have people watching complete one hour or longer shows and films.
ISPreview.co.uk spotted the news that Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer is to upload some of its film catalogue and TV shows onto YouTube. CBS made a similar move last month by posting full episodes of Star Trek and Beverly Hills 902010.
Perhaps this is the start of a new life for old shows and films that have made it onto the £3 bargain shelf, in that they will now be made available online with the only payment being that you will be required to watch some adverts. It is not clear whether MGM or CBS will have a specific section on YouTube to make it easy for people to find the shows, one of the big problems with YouTube is that there is so much content available finding exactly want you want can be difficult.
