More free Wi-Fi on its way
National Express has been offering free Wi-Fi on its services between Cambridge and London for a while. This service is now set to expand with routes between Milton Keynes and Canary Wharf in London benefiting from free Wi-Fi.
Moovera is the hardware supplier who are also involved in the Reading Wi-Fi service. The service will make use of the Vodafone 3G network to provide up to 3.6Mbps of connectivity to the coaches.
The Milton Keynes to London route is particularly popular with business commuters. The journey takes a little over two hours, and we want to deliver services that enable our customers to make best use of their time. Internet access at broadband speeds is a natural choice and the success of our initial Moovbox Wi-Fi installations between Cambridge and London proved the concept. Moovera’s experience with delivering robust and reliable mobile broadband technology meant they were the right partner for our expansion to further routes.Cathryn Jeeves, Project Manager at National Express
