South Korea - the Internet future?
The Independent at the weekend had a report from a reporter in Seoul (South Korea) looking at broadband in the country.
South Korea comes out top in broadband polls very often and leads the way in showing what a truly broadband nation could become. Something like 75% of South Korean homes subscribe to a service of 3Mbps for around £10 a month, other stats are pretty surprising too, 30 million 3G mobile phone users and 20,000 Internet Cafes. The most amazing stat is that nine out of ten 24 to 29 year olds subscribe to a single networking site called Cyworld.
