Alison Ritchie, BT Chief Broadband Officer to move on
Alison Ritchie has been the Chief Broadband Officer in BT since November 2002, and has seen the UK market move on enormously. Back in 2002, around 66% of homes and businesses were connected to an ADSL enabled exchange, and now the UK has the best ADSL broadband availability of any country in the G8.
Alison Ritchie is set to take a year off and do some travelling with her husband Steve. Alison had the following to say in the press release issued by BT.

All of us at ADSLGuide wish Alison and her husband Steve the best for the future, and would like to say thank you for all your help, and building such a great team of around yourself at BT. There has been times when we know BT have delved long and hard to find out how information has been leaked to us in the past, but in the last couple of years, with the help of Alison and others a relationship has been built, that will still let us question BT actions, but also allow us to bring accurate information to those seeking information on broadband.
