Ofcom grabs Bulldog and gives them a good shake...
Ofcom has published the results of its investigation into the clauses in the Bulldog terms and conditions for its AllTime service. The original complaint was logged in October 2004.
Most of the points that Ofcom has raised are in relation to the statutory rights of consumers, which service providers are not allowed to override, although there are some that always try. An example is below:

At least this investigation shows that Ofcom will investigate complaints raised by consumers. We would always advise people when signing up to any broadband service to give the terms and conditions, and sections like the fair usage policy (FUP) a careful read.
