Latest RFS dates and good news for Yorkshire
BT Wholesale has published the latest round of 41 Ready for Service dates. This RFS date is when a specific BT exchange will be ready for its first ADSL users.
Fifteen exchanges in the North, West and South Yorkshire areas have good reason to be pleased, especially Great Ayton, Old Catterick, Cullingworth, Burley in Wharfdale, Addingham and Bentley who have now got an RFS date without ever receiving a trigger. This raft of activity in Yorkshire is down to a partnership between Yorkshire Forward, BT and the region's Business Links. Once these exchanges are ADSL enabled, the number of households in the Yorkshire region connected to an enabled BT exchange will be nearly 90%. Which is one of the highest coverage figures outside Britains largest cities.
