Rollout of DSL in Oklahoma USA sounds familiar
BroadbandReports.com has the news that SBC Oklahoma is to rollout DSL to 37 towns and expand access in another 25 towns. For people in the UK this has a horribly familiar ring to it, and appears to be a game being played across a number of US states.
Visiting one of Oklahoma's news channel websites shows that they are even holding community events to celebrate the arrival of DSL. Something that many people in the UK may be planning with the current wave of new ADSL exchanges.
This sort of news goes to show that even in countries touted as prime examples of how far behind the UK is, often similar issues exist outside the large metropolitan areas.
