New face at the helm of TalkTalk

TalkTalk two years ago was almost a non-entity in the broadband business, with the Carphone Warehouse group buying AOL Broadband along the way. The existing Managing Director David Thatcher is leaving after two years at the helm of the fixed line business part of the group, TalkTalk. His replacement according to MarketingWeek is Wendy Becker who comes to TalkTalk from the management consultancy firm McKinsey.
