Carphone Warehouse to buy AOL for £370 million

The BBC is reporting surprise news that Carphone Warehouse has won the auction in which AOL UK was up for grabs. The price of £370 million brings around 1,500,000 broadband customers into the Carphone Warehouse stable, and a pool of over 100,000 LLU customers on a range of exchanges.
