Demon ADSL falls over

All Demon ADSL customers appear to have a suffered an outage today from 4:30 to around 10:30 - possibly continuing. Their helpdesk does not know if it is fixed.

The fault occurred during maintenance and engineers at 8am were attempting to roll back the changes.

On-line status warns that users may have poor connectivity if they can connect, it would appear that authentication still works but the packet loss to Demon and beyond is running at 98% or higher.
