Over the last weekend, there has been a number of times when the ADSL Demand Tracker run by BT Wholesale has not functioned correctly. BT Wholesale have now informed Service Providers that the problems have been caused by a software upgrade to one of the systems that provides 'incompatible product' information to the BT checker.
Unfortunately it would appear no simple rollback path is available, but a resolution date of the 18th February 2003 has been set. In the meantime the presence of an ISDN2 line may not be picked by the BT system when people are checking their lines suitability for ADSL. Information about other incompatible products such as Home Highway should be unaffected.
