Four more exchanges to get ADSL in Cornwall
Tuesday 14 January 2003 17:47:00 by Andrew Ferguson

netimperative has the news that the ActNow scheme in Cornwall is to enable four more exchanges. The exchanges are St Ives, Bude, Saltash and Penryn, which brings the total under the scheme to thirteen.

The exchanges should hopefully be enabled in early February. The ActNow scheme is a partnership between BT, European & local government bodies. The scheme has connected 2,500 users since its launch, and as well as enabling exchanges offers subsidised ADSL connections to SME's in the areas.
