Three exchanges have had a Major Service Outage (MSO) declared by BT Wholesale. The exchanges are Irby, Leek and Kesgrave. It is believed that this is related to the problems that new users on these exchanges are experiencing, which are that the ADSL modem connects but is unable to authenticate or is very intermittent.
Declaring an MSO, means that all service providers should know about the problems, though it will take time to filter down the chain to first line support staff. No confirmed time has been given for when the faults will be cleared, but if we get official confirmation or any more details from BT Wholesale we will pass them on.
