Free Unlimited Broadband from Sky
Friday 18 December 2015 10:43:42 by Andrew Ferguson

The big bundles of free gifts have finally departed from the Sky TV bundles, but a new wave of offers to entice a different audience have emerged.

Existing Sky TV customers who don't already have Sky Broadband can get unlimited ADSL2+ free for 12 months, just the voice line rental at £17.40 per month to pay (12 month contract, broadband is £10 per month usually).

Update 1pm Since doing the original round of updates those signing up to Sky Unlimited Broadband without a Sky TV service can also benefit from the free broadband for 12 months and there is an extra sweetener of a £50 M&S e-Voucher.

For those wanting a little more speed the up to 38 Mbps download (up to 10 Mbps upload) fibre based service with a 25GB monthly data allowance is now just £5 per month for 12 months on a 12 month contract (£10 per month normally). For those with a more unlimited data appetite the unlimited version continues its half price offer at £10 per month for the 12 month contract (£20 per month usually). On both fibre services voice line rental at £17.40 per month needs to be paid and the fibre offers are available irrespective of whether you have a Sky TV service or not.

Thanks for this. I could do with this on a dormant line I need to activate as a backup. NO point paying for fibre when it's just a backup. Nice to see Sky still doing it

So, £17.40 per month then?

Headline at Sky says £50 M&S voucher, small print T&C says "Choice of reward: Choice of a £25 M&S e-Voucher, £25 Tesco in store voucher or £25 Prepaid MasterCard®."

@M100 The small print coverage all products, the relevant broadband bit is

"£50 M&S e-Voucher broadband offer: £50 M&S e-Voucher for new customers joining Sky Broadband Unlimited without TV online."

@roph Wording is always difficult on these things, all I can say is we always include the line rental costs in a clear way. This is unlike some other sites that do listings where voice line rental is not shown at all and that is even ones that Ofcom monitors.
