This is a tempting offer for me - the fibre cab is directly outside my property but there are no spare lines until the old cab is re-shelled to allow more room. The BT Availability Checker gives a date of 26th Aug so I may miss this one.
The old cab is cast iron so how long does it take to re-shell - all done in a day? Is everyone disconnected while it happens?

I think the reshell can be done in one day; no disconnections necessary.

However, adding extra tie pairs and their connectors may take a further couple of days.

Thanks WWW, the re-shell was supposed to be done over a week ago but it didn't happen.
