WarwickNet to build network to support larger roll-out of local TV
Wednesday 19 August 2015 13:59:20 by Andrew Ferguson

WarwickNet has been delivering FTTC (with vectoring) and FTTP to businesses at various business parks across the UK and was the firm used to deliver connectivity to some 19 locations that formed part of the phase one of the local TV roll-out as run by Comux who hold the licence from Ofcom for managing the digital transmission infrastructure.

In a phase two competitive round WarwickNet has been appointed to deliver its network to another 28 additional cities and towns, fighting off competition from others such as BT, Virgin Media and SSE.

For those businesses wondering where WarwickNet is available we have added their postcodes to our checker at http://labs.thinkbroadband.com/local which should make it easier for people to check out what is likely to be available at various business parks across the UK.
