Using TalkTalk in East of England and have problems?
Thursday 12 March 2015 12:45:17 by Andrew Ferguson

If you are with TalkTalk or one of the numerous providers who utilise the TalkTalk Wholesale services and are having no joy with your broadband today and are located in the East Midlands or East Anglia, then it may well not be your hardware or broadband connection but rather a fibre break that has now been identified on the network between Hemel Hempstead and Telehouse North.

Entanet has the detail on the developing issue and while connectivity has been restored for some work to repair the fibre break is ongoing.

Update The problem has now been fixed, so if you are in the East of England and still have no problem it may actually be your connection.

On 13th March I, along with all AAISP customers nationwide on TalkTalk backhaul, lost connection for about 30 minutes. Does anyone know whether this was related to the fibre break or a different issue?
