DrayTek Vigor 2600 now available
Sunday 23 June 2002 09:00:00 by Sebastien Lahtinen

From the makers of the router that connected to an Alcatel SpeedTouch USB and presented an ethernet output, a new model has finally been released. The DrayTek Vigor 2600 router range is shipping from June 28th. Priced from £179+VAT for the base model, it's not the least expensive of wires-only devices, but it does include all the nice features such as a stateful firewall, VPN including IPSec, VPN passthrough, 4-port 10/100 switch with auto-crossover, NAT and routed (multiple IP) network support, "Dynamic DNS posting" with various providers, and more. For those looking for extra functionality, the additional models in the series can support ISDN and wireless ethernet as well.

Specification is available here and you can order the router from Seg. [seb]

[update 30/06/02 seb]: The Vigor 2600 product is now also available from DSL Warehouse at the same price.
