Ethernet ADSL devices getting cheaper again
Friday 21 June 2002 22:10:00 by Andrew Ferguson

Another week another price cut, DSL Warehouse has dropped the price of the their DSLW906E from £85 to £79 + VAT, (£92.83 inc VAT). Whilst not a massive price cut, it is a move in the right direction.

The modem looks fairly interesting since as well as supporting the normal NAT and PAT operation modes for PPPoA, it appears the option of a PPTP VPN tunnel is available, making the router transparent which if you have a single PC means software like the voice chat in MS Messenger should run with no problems.
