TalkTalk rejigged their broadband offers last week and the £100 Love2Shop vouchers have returned for those looking to get the best value from the broadband offers, the current voucher wave runs until 23rd October 2014.
The offers on fibre based services have improved, with the entry level fibre service which has up to 38 Mbps downloads and up to 1.9 Mbps running at £5 per month for 12 months on an 18 month contract. For those chasing faster uploads, there is also a promotion running on the Fibre Large service, which often misses out where the standard £18.50 per month is reduced to £10 per month for the first 12 months, plus the £100 shopping voucher.
For those living in York there is an extra promotion running ahead of the roll-out of the pure fibre FTTH network in parts of York during 2015. The Fibre Large service can be secured for £10 per month for 18 months, then obviously the option to upgrade to potentially 1 Gbps once the network has been built in York. Our assumption is that once the FTTH network has been built and passes a property, that those ordering FTTC in York will most likely moved across to the FTTH network, with the same pricing and upsell to even faster speeds.
