TalkTalk for some months after launching its SimplyBroadband unlimited usage broadband service did not run any offers the product, on Sunday a £50 shopping voucher deal ended and this has been replaced by a more direct reduced price offer.
SimplyBroadband is now available at £1.75 per month for the first six months, before reverting to the standard £3.50 per month.
The reduction in the basic package price also filters through to the fibre broadband service for customers new to Talktalk, meaning that Fibre Medium with SimplyBroadband is £11.75 per month for six months, before returning to the standard £13.50.
Existing TalkTalk SimplyBroadband can now upgrade to fibre based broadband and pay just half price for six months on the extra fibre package, i.e. £5/month extra rising to £10 extra after 6 months.
There are two days left (expires 15th May) on the combined £50 voucher and reduced price offers on Essentials TV (£2.50/m for six momths, then £8.50) and Plus TV packages (£13/month for six months, then £18.50). The cheaper TV package includes a basic YouView box that does not store recorded TV shows, while Plus TV adds a full YouView box and 7 Sky entertainment channels.
NOTE: On all TalkTalk broadband products voice line rental is required, which is charged at £15.99 per month. Voice Line Saver where you pay for 12 months rent in advance will reduce the price to the equivalent of £11.75 per month.
Updated Wednesday 14th: New half price for six months offer on the fibre element for existing customers added.
