The competition is increasing for peoples custom in the fibre based broadband arena, and Primus Saver has entered the fray. The pricing is not as bargain basement as TalkTalk with its Fibre Medium service at £12.50 per month and people need to keep an eye out for the line rental costs, as for the fibre products voice line rental is £14.90 per month, rather than the standard Primus Saver price of £11.39.
On all the fibre products, voice line rental at £14.90 applies, reduces to the equivalent of £10 per month if you pay 12 months in advance and a £20 activation fee applies to the broadband service.
The availability of fibre based broadband without the voice line rental going to the same provider appears to be decreasing. In the recent case of Zen by paying a supplement existing customers have been able to upgrade to their unlimited fibre products and posts on our forums suggests this even works for new users. We doubt whether the same flexibility will apply with Primus Saver who are in a different sector of the market.
