More good news, residents and businesses in the Fell End Rural Community Broadband Project area are closer to receiving a superfast broadband service as the project has sent out its Invitation to Tender and thus procurement will be the next step.
The 10 square mile corner of Ravenstonedale Parish should eventually see some 58 properties connected, in an area where broadband is either not available or very slow (0.5 Mbps).
The project has already been underway for two years is part of the larger Upper Eden Community Plan.
Well done Fell End. More FTTP in deepest Cumbria.
