Anglesey (Ynys Môn) is benefiting from superfast broadband thanks to the work of AB Internet, with their service providing real world speeds above 40 Mbps, and with a decent latency, providing superfast broadband in areas where the big two or three commercial operators have shown very little interest to date.
With AB Internet providing speeds like this, it shows that even if a BDUK project were to elect for a wireless solution for the most rural 5% to 10% of a county, then if done correctly could see speeds well in excess of the basic 2 Mbps Universal Service Commitment (USC).
Our broadband map community project has a layer showing where AB Internet services are available.
