Broadband problems for Scotland
Tuesday 03 April 2012 18:15:19 by Andrew Ferguson

Scotland is having problems with snow freezing on powerlines, and for those not affected by that it seems broadband from BT Wholesale is doing its best to ruin the day.

A serious incident has been raised for Scotland for all providers in the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Carluke & Dumfermline areas. The incident has resulted in people losing their internet access.

AAISP, Entanet and Plusnet status pages provide further insight for those who have access to an internet connection in the affected areas.

The real issue is as long as OR can patch up wires/cables etc etc to keep to the USO they will/have to,Broadband doesn't have a USO so they don't give a monkey's as long as the phone rings in your home.
