In a weeks time the 80 Mbps version of the Openreach Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) product officially launches, and providers are announcing their pricing. Entanet is the latest to announce the price it will charge to resellers across six business packages and five family packages.
Entanet is taking pre-orders, and the standard ordering interface will allow orders for the new faster FTTC product on 12th April. A 15GB usage allowance, 80 Mbps downstream and 20 Mbps upstream product will cost £24.83 (plus VAT), though a special offer that is running until 10th July 2012, means the monthly price will be £22.83 (plus VAT) per month. The cheapest fibre based service will be the original 40 Mbps downstream with just 2 Mbps upstream which costs £21.58 (plus VAT).
Entanet acts as a wholesaler, selling its services via channel partners, so it is normal to see variations in pricing between the resellers, depending on what added value they are adding to a service and their own costs in retailing it. Once Entanet provides the full pricing list we will update our ISP listing page for them.
