Vigor USB router adds Fujitsu FDX-310 to it's list
Wednesday 16 January 2002 11:35:00 by Andrew Ferguson

The Vigor 2200 USB router from Seg at £179 ex VAT has had support added for the Fujitsu FDX-310 USB ADSL modem that BT are now installing with the BTipstream 500 service (i.e. the engineer visit version). The device will require the latest firmware.

This is important as BT are providing both the Fujitsu and Alcatel modems now, though how popular this product will be now that wires-only is around is hard to say.

The Vigor also has support for access to a remote LAN using Cisco™ PIX, Nokia™ or Watchguard™ VPN hardware, or the standard Windows98/ME/XP/2K VPN clients.
