World record for blog comments attempt underway

Trefor Davies started his world record bid to have a blog item with over 100,000 comments on it, and in the process raise money for the RNLI via donations.

If every comment poster donated just £1 (don't forget Gift Aid if a UK taxpayer) and the record is broken, then over £100,000 would be raised. There is no obligation to donate, but any donation will be welcomed.

Over 5000 and as it raised over £5,000 for the RNLI I say that is an impressive win as it was £5k more than before the attempt was started. Good on them for doing something for such a good cause.
