EC thinks ADSL prices too low?

TheRegister reports that the European Commission is investigating the Wanadoo ADSL service in France on the subject of predatory pricing. The implication is that it is offering the service at below cost in order to drive competition out of the market.

Whilst everyone in the UK seems to be calling for prices to fall, the EU seems to be suggesting that some of the less expensive offers around are abuse of monopolistic power. Wanadoo's monthly price is €45 (approx. £28) on a 12 month contract for 512k/128k excluding setup/hardware.
