O2 have released business broadband packages to compliment their existing home broadband options according to Mobile News. Several package options are available, and like O2's home broadband, a £5 discount per month is available if you are an existing O2 mobile customer.
| Package Name | Download Speed | Upload Speed | Usage Limit | Price (ex-VAT) |
Price non-O2 (ex-VAT) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Home Office | 20 Mbps | 1.3 Mbps | 150GB | £15.50 | £20.50 |
| Office 10 | 20 Mbps | 2.5 Mbps | 300GB | £22.50 | £27.50 |
| Access | 8 Mbps | 0.4 Mbps | £25 | £30 |
Speeds are of course limited by the distance from your premises to the telephone exchange. Home Office is aimed at two PC's whilst Office 10 is aimed to support up to ten with each including the applicable number of licenses for McAfee security software. The Access product is the option available to users who are not connected to a telephone exchange which has gone through local-loop unbundling (LLU), where O2 have installed their own equipment at the telephone exchange.
Being a business plan, O2 also offer a bolt-on called "Fast Fix" which offers a 24-hour fix guarantee for the service and a back-up mobile broadband dongle that can be used if the broadband is suffering problems. This option is vital to businesses who rely on Internet access for the company to function as broadband faults can sometimes take days to fix.
A 30-day 'no quibble happiness guarantee' is offered which will give customers the option to cancel after the first 30 days. O2's business broadband includes a wireless router and offers a static IP address by default.
Update 10/05/2011 14:30

No doubt traffic managed to hell the same as the Home products.
