The Register brings more bad news, Energsis has pulled out of the Local Loop Unbundling (LLU) process. This leaves
just Bulldog communications, EasyNet, FibreNet and Kingston Telecommunications as active in the area now.
The spokeswoman for Energsis makes some comments that read very like what I and other people have been saying in the forums - that LLU is going to be very limited in it's coverage now and that
BTwholesale will be the primary DSL provider for the country. Energsis cite the head start that BT had with it's own DSL rollout and the complex and turbulent negotiation process associated with
LLU.
