Anyone got 700m of Fibre Optic cable they can lend BT?

Update:BT appear to have got it working by 10pm according to reports from the Maidenhead area.

700m of Fibre Optic cable has got damaged by third-party contractors at Maidenhead, Berkshire. BT have issued a Broadband Incident Report over it stating that they are awaiting a new cable on site, also the contractors magically took out a bit of fibre that cant be routed around. The projected time for getting the cable in and working is 10pm currently.

The area affected is the 01628 exchange code - at this time not sure of how many users are affected.
