Twang.net bought up by Timico

Just over a year after KeConnect was bought up by Timico, they are again on the acquisition trail, this time acquiring Newbury based Twang.net. Twang offer both fixed and mobile communications including fully managed homeworking solutions.

The broadband customers of Twang will most likely be migrated onto the Timico/KeConnect network allowing for more efficient resources throughout the companies. Twang is said to be maintaining its independence with the existing management team continuing to lead the company forward.

Your comment gives me hope for the same sailor. I am a Twang.net customer and am very happy with the present level of customer service and performance, i had initially worried about the QoS with Timico, but your post reassures me :) Just hope they don't standardise the pricing, i currently pay significantly less than the cost of KeConnect for the equivalent package and would have to consider moving elsewhere should the pricing be merged
As a long standing private (non-business) customer of Keconnect, I hope that this further expansion will not impact adversely on the present excellent technical customer support.
