Free Wi-Fi for T-Mobile broadband customers

T-Mobile are to bundle free Wi-Fi access with all new web'n'walk Plus or Max subscriptions. Starting from £12.50 per month (on top of a Flext mobile package), web'n'walk will give customers free access to T-Mobile hotspots in the UK in conjunction with the broadband access available via the mobile phone network. The hotspots are situated at sites including Starbucks coffee shops, airports, main-line train stations, and service stations. A full list of hotspots can be found in the T-Mobile Hotspot directory.

"We've already built a market-leading high-speed 3G network nationwide, now we're strengthening our lead in mobile broadband by adding our wi-fi HotSpots to web'n'walk Plus / Max price plans. So as well as comprehensive 3G HSDPA coverage, you can be sure of a fast connection where it matters most whether it's in Starbucks, the airport, train stations or any other HotSpot location - at no extra cost."

So its free but you pay £12.50 a month.... hmmm that makes sense haha

LOL its a shame t-mobile has about 45% 3g uk coverage, Orange has the best 3g network so far 93% 3g coverage so i think i will stick with my k800i and my £6 400mb a month extra

why would anyone use t-mobile there like the shitest network worst call quality + the crappest coverage in the world :o, orange and o2 are far better

CARPETBURN, the hotspot package normally costs £8/mo on top of the Web'n'Walk package and voice tariff.

for the record t mobile's 3g coverage is the best in the UK at 98%, 02 and orange's coverage is lower. generaly speaking call quality is less to do with the network and more to do with the handset the customer chose at point of sale.
