"This offer includes a free Thomson wireless router (£7.50 postage charge applies"
Erm if you have to pay for them to send it how is that free?
"free connection, free anti-virus and firewall software for a year"
After that they will rip you off and in the long run its cheaper to use free antivirus software or buy your own.

"unlimited Online Data Storage"
LMFAO they are kidding right??? how can you have unlimited online storage when you are capped at 2gig a month unless you fork out more cash if you want to say upload 4gig to their "unlimited" storage you cant.
"Those paying by credit card need to be aware that a £1 per month surcharge applies."
More like... Those paying by credit card should aware we have an accounts department that dont have a clue and will bill it as they please.
I wont even bother with there so called free calls thing.

Another laughable deal from Pipex, who clearly still think their target market are people with dodgy eyesight, who can't read the small print and still think the Hoff looks cool.

I hope someone reports them to the ASA for the (not so) 'free' router and the 'unlimited' upload storage which is anything but with a Pipex connection.

Well done Carpetburn, keep reading the small print and let everyone know. Surely there are many who don't but should. Kieth, never rely on others-DIY.

Pipex really are a big joke. 90% of their terms and conditions and legal section actually clashes with how they provide the service and bill you. The sooner Tiscali get hold of em the better... Why you ask? Well tiscali are just as bad people will hopefully leave in droves and hopefully the 200-mil tiscali splashed will go down the pan and finally both of these companies get some comeuppance.
