Acquisitions in the broadband market are not just about the large companies, and Timico has recently announced its acquisition of KeConnect. The respective press releases can be read on the Timico and KeConnect websites.
"We are delighted to have made our second acquisition. Like Timico, KeConnect is another convergence-focused business and shares our strong commitment to providing high quality, business strength solutions with exceptional personal customer service. By combining the two companies, we achieve a strategic opportunity to further increase the value of our business by gaining a customer base into which we are able to sell multiple services,"
Tim Radford, Chairman, Timico Group
KeConnect has been trading successfully since 1995 and is based near Ipswich, Suffolk. Currently it has around 6,000 broadband connections and the directors Robert Kemp and Gary Hill will remain with the company.
"We are please to be teaming up with a company as well respected as Timico because it offers us tremendous flexibility for our dealers as well as our customers,"
Robert Kemp, Sales Director, KeConnect
I'm a KeConnect reseller and I had to read it here... not a good start.
