Timico acquires KeConnect

Acquisitions in the broadband market are not just about the large companies, and Timico has recently announced its acquisition of KeConnect. The respective press releases can be read on the Timico and KeConnect websites.

KeConnect has been trading successfully since 1995 and is based near Ipswich, Suffolk. Currently it has around 6,000 broadband connections and the directors Robert Kemp and Gary Hill will remain with the company.

WIm - There was an Announcement of Timico's Acquisition of KeConnect within 24 hours of the completion of the deal on our Reseller Portal. (www.resellerportal.co.uk) All 537 resellers have access to this and any important info will be posted in there first. I want to emphasise it will be business as usual for all our resellers.

Hi Robert,
yep, I should've stuck to my schedule of checking my reseller portal :-)
I've got more details now and checked out Timico, so I'm actually looking forward to gaining a VOIP service and a more diverse back-end of network suppliers (BT, Tiscali, etc...)
It's also good to know this hasn't been an overnight decision, unlike my first reaction :-)
