BSkyB May Move into DSL.

BSky are reported to be looking into the possibilities of providing a Video on Demand service via BT's DSL infrastructure. Application for a licence has gone into the ITC.

This move would bring them into direct competition with HomeChoice and by entering the market a little later options of BTvideostream Plus with a 512kbps internet access option could be used.

In more BSkyB/BT news, BT are to offer discounts on some Sky packages in an attempt to counter the combined Phone/Cable TV packages that NTL and Telewest offer. The cheapest Telewest package offering Digital TV and phone line with a handful of channels for £9.60.
