This morning, Iomart has announced its acquisition of the failed ADSL ISP, OnCue. It confirms that it intends to continue providing service to all existing customers. OnCue have over 600 business DSL connections. Plans are to move customers over to the Iomart service over the next two weeks minimising loss of service in the process. Unlike the case of IG Click, it seems that these customers will not be merely dumped and subjected to delays whilst BT ceases the lines and asked to pay a new setup fee of around £260. Having spent £200,000 to acquire the customers from OnCue, Iomart has quickly expanded their business customer base and will seek to regain their investment in a matter of months.
